Here is the the report from the Elf Crew who toured the neighborhood last Saturday with a critical eye toward judging Holiday lights and decor::
“ This was another hard year with many great entrants that made our decision a tough one. The Winners are:
Best overall: The Crowes residence at 2358 Walnut Grove Lane
Most Whimsical: The Cummins residence at 2723 Martinique
Best Entryway: the Street Residence at 2149 Antigua
Shoutouts to the Otto Residence at 3793 Jamaica Ct. and their Up on the Rooftop theme as well as the very cheery tree at the corner of the Wirth/Wardrop property at Bahama and Tabago and the beautifully lit tree on the fence line behind the Freeman residence at 2267 Bahama.
If you disagree with the Elves decision or still harbor ill feelings on awards in the past, remember the Naughty list is long so light up your house! Many displays this year were – oh so close to an award – that perhaps a few additional touches will catch our eye and honor your efforts with the coveted Elf Awards. Happy Holidays!”
